A brilliant job done by Kolkata Bloggers. We needed something like this for a long long long long time. Thank you guys for allowing all Potter fans to be a part of something so phenomenal. A big Thank Youuuu to Oxford as well for being such a sport in hosting an incredible event like this. 

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - the much awaited eighth book released on 31st July, which also happens to be J.K Rowling's birthday and Kolkata Bloggers arranged a Pre Book Launch Event for it on the 30th of July at the Oxford store in Park Street.

The event was immense fun and let's hear how.

They had organised a Triwizard Tournament (it's a quiz for the Potterheads, not the real game of guts and magic silly!!).

The questions which couldn't be answered by the contestants were thrown to the audience and within the blink of an eye there were arms flailing in the air and people shouting, hoping to get the chance to answer. What a ruckus that was !! Phew..

When there are wands and capes who can resist the temptation of a little battle?

Out of all the happy people at Oxford on Saturday there was one who was delirious with joy, the winner of the Triwizard Tournament of course !! The prize was a free copy of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The runner ups were given vouchers from Oxford.

To top it all it was a day that all Potterheads of Kolkata would surely remember.
